| OPEN STUDIOS 2007 Project opens doors to art Open Studios, sponsored by the Kansas City Artists Coalition, is the largest area art event benefiting local artists. Participating artists invite the public into their studios so that art lovers have the chance to meet the artists and see their work. Several Open Studios artists will be at ARTichokes in Mission Farms in Leawood. For Open Studios, ARTichokes will feature 14 artists: Margaret Chaney, Mary Elmusa, Steve and Rita Lohr, Teresa Magel, Erin Mecusker, Daisy Muff, Laura Nugent, Rebecca Pashia, Leigh Ann Prier, Charlene Pryor, Robert Quackenbush, Anita Toby and Jackie Warren. ….. … ARTichokes is at 10557 Mission Road; call 913-322-9481 or visit www.artichokeskc.com. The Open Studios weekend hours include a Friday opening party from 6 to 8 pm, 11 am to 5 pm Saturday, and 11 am to 4 pm Sunday.
