| ART IN THE WORKS AT THIS GALLERY ARTichokes, an art gallery featuring local artists and a workspace for art classes for children and adults, opened Monday in the new Mission Farms, 10557 Mission Road in Leawood. Owners Rebecca Pashia, Megan Sutherland and Jackie Warren said they wanted a space where art could be created and other artists works could be shown in the same spot. On Thursdays from 7 to 8 p.m. the gallery will feature art talks, poetry readings and other events, and on Fridays from 7 to 8 p.m. there will be live music.
