About the Instructor
Graduating from K-State with a BFA in Illustration, Dusty Wooden continually strives to depict the perfect image. He struggles in finding a medium that defines his work. Charcoal, prisma color, acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, graphite, he loves it all! Dusty's subject matter ranges from mostly portraits to figures and still lives, and he enjoys the benefits of working from a photo as well as observing from life.
Dusty is currently working on his Masters in Education. He first came to ARTichokes to volunteer for his UMKC summer practicum, and soon fell in love with the warm environment and welcoming community. He's very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the incredible experience!
