"UP-CYCLE" YOUR JEWELRY

Do you have your grandmother's favorite necklace that you never wear? Well now you can! Up-cycle your old, vintage or sentimental jewelry that is being ignored at the bottom of your jewelry box. Bring it with you and turn it into something fabulous that you will be proud to wear. Perhaps make something special for a relative or simply treat yourself! In this workshop, Jill will be on hand with the beads, design advice, and tools to help you re-create that special piece. You'll leave the class with something original and sentimental, that YOU created! This workshop is intended for semi-precious and costume beaded jewelry pieces only. All levels of experience are welcome!
All art supplies will be provided by ARTichokes & this cost is included in the enrollment fee.
Minimum students per session: 6
Maximum students per session: 10
Cost for 4 classes: $125.00, plus tax
About the Instructor
Jill Swanberg has been creating unique jewelry for the past six years. Her passion for jewelry began when she inherited some vintage jewelry from her family members. In an effort to help everyone remember them, she used the pieces she had and repurposed them into wonderful, wearable and truly sentimental pieces for her family. Over the past six years, Jill's work has grown and evolved with each new piece she creates.
Jill is greatly inspired by the natural elements in her environment. With each piece she creates, she incorporates various elements such as natural stones, vintage elements and one of a kind objects into wearable art. By implementing this technique, Jill insures that no two pieces are ever the same.
