About the Instructor
Danna York homeschooled her three children and through those many years taught outside classes of all kinds, always using art with all subjects.
"I wrote and illustrated a childrens book titled To the Cider Mill which is a book for kids to draw and write along with the story. I wrote the book this way to encourage children to enjoy a talent they can all have. The book is in its 5th year and with it , I go to libraries, book store reading times, and it's at various cider mills in the country. I have a really nice set up for the children, reading the book, drawing different fall things, and drinking cider."
Danna's program of drawing includes: basic rules of drawing, still life, nature journaling, landscape, art / artist study, portrait, cartooning, many drawing exercises, nice projects that will be matted, indoor/outdoor work etc.
