Learn to draw the human figure with an excellent teacher, Robert Von! The class will be geared towards a better understanding of proportion, light, shape, movement, and negative space as it relates to representing the human figure in drawing and painting mediums. There will be a live, clothed model for the last 2 classes.This class will lead up to the following class in May: Painting the Human Figure.
Students will be using a combination of graphite, charcoal, and pastels.
Class level: beginner to advanced.
All art supplies will be provided by ARTichokes & this cost is included in the enrollment fee.

About the Instructor
Robert Von, a Kansas City native has been living and working in New York since 1998. He has exhibited works and taught Art in New York, Europe, and Indonesia. He also taught Computer Art at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, as well as numerous art programs and private instruction with well-known artists in the U.S., Italy and Bali.
