This course is designed to introduce you to light.  How to see it and work with it.  We will study natural light, artificial light as well as working with light at night.

We'll start off at ARTichokes with a review of your equipment and discuss types of light.  One night we will spend in a studio working with strobes, light meter, and reflectors; one night will be spent doing long exposure photography using the light of the night; and then we will cover off camera flash and working with the flash that is on your camera.

By the end of the class you should be closer to understanding how light is measured, recorded and used to create images.
