BEGINNING PHOTOGRAPHY

This course will cover basic camera operation. You will learn how to use the manual and semi-manual functions, understand how exposure and light affects your image. Learn about composition, white balance, and other settings special to your camera to create the image you visualize. This is just the tip. So if you want to go beyond Auto and pre-programmed shooting modes this course is for you. Bring: camera, questions and note taking materials. Assignments will be given and discussed. Designed for DSLRs, and film SLRs.

About the Instructor
Angie has been a photographer for almost 20 years. She has gone through many transformations as a photographer. Starting her career off as an assistant, working with many nationally known photographers she was exposed to many different styles of photography.
Working with different people has taught her how to photograph in various situations: From industrial to beautiful scenic location, from livestock and agriculture to food, from portrait to street photography and so on. She has photographed in Alaska, Oregon, and China. Her current work depicts her travels throughout south China and Beijing, where she lived for 6 months.
